I have rebounded tremendously from my bankruptcy case. My credit is near 700, work has been great, I have a brand new car and I'm working on buying my first home.
I needed a good bankruptcy lawyer that would make my process easy and stress free. A co-worker recommended Dana Power. I loved her from the moment I met her. She made me realize that I was doing what was right for me and made me feel proud to do it instead of my original thought of being ashamed of having to file. She was easy to get a hold of when I had questions. She explained the whole process from beginning to end. I am in the process of buying a new home three yrs later and needed documents from her. I called and she had the documents e-mailed to me within 15 minutes of speaking with her. I would highly recommend her.
Thank you once again, from the bottom of my heart and soul, for all of your personal and professional assistance with enabling me to soon (hopefully within 3 years or far less time) become debt free. You are certainly one of the best at what you do!
Dear Atty Power, You helped me beyond my expectation….I cannot thank you enough. I'm so grateful. God bless you and your staff.
I recently went through a garnishment and didn't know where to turn. I called the bankruptcy attorney, Dana Power, directly. I knew from the first moment I spoke with her she was the right "one". She had the sense of compassion and willingness to help me make the right decision during my financial hardship. She made herself readily available, answered my questions and kept me informed. I’ve always believed that God sends angels when you need them and that is why I landed in her office. You definitely want an attorney who will be there when you need them most. Thank you all for helping me during this difficult time.
Thank you so much for everything you have done for us Dana. I didn't know what to expect, and you made this all very easy for us. I will definitely pass your business card along to anyone who would need it.
B.B. & J.B.,
I interviewed several bankruptcy attorneys I was referred to Dana through a friend of mine.Even though she was 45 minutes from my house and over a bridge tunnel away from me after meeting her I felt like she would be able to do what I need to get done.
My simple bankruptcy that turned into a more complex nightmare because of a ex-wife and business partner situations and several businesses involved as well as my personal stuff etc.
Dana did a fantastic job getting everything altogether get what I needed to my trustee.
I never really dealt with the trustee she took care of everything for me when I needed to get her something she told me I got it to her and she took care of it.
I most certainly would recommend her and think you're crazy if you did not use her.
No one starts off in a venture thinking they will end up financially pinned and/or destitute in need of a drastic action like filing for bankruptcy. But if that time comes, just like with everything else worth doing correctly, you want to find the strongest possible lawyer to provide the best possible advice. That is what you get with Dana Power; she is honest, tough and will guide you down the path but you must also know there will be much asked of you in the form of data calls and providing her team information to satisfy your trustee and the court so you can put the terrible mess behind you. Dana’s expert counsel provided us answers, solutions and the best possible outcome. In the end, her recommendations proved out to be sound and correct.
I did my due diligence, Dana is well respected among her peers and when the time came it was evident she enjoyed an outstanding working relationship with our assigned trustee. We were extremely grateful and pleased with Dana’s service and found her staff responsive and knowledgeable. Dana has our strongest personal recommendation to anyone in need of filing bankruptcy because she’s that good!
Dana Power is an exceptional attorney who exhibits a great attention to detail and provides individualized attention. She would return calls promptly, was efficient, and offered solid advice for financial security in the future. Where declaring personal bankruptcy is humiliating and depressing, she gave us hope and told us ways we could improve our credit. She provided us great relief in a very stressful situation.
Ms. Power went above and beyond the spectrum of her responsibilities to ensure my case was settled without any delays. She kept me informed and explained the process in detail.
I first met Ms. Power when she was working with another local attorney. I had spoken to approximately five other attorneys concerning my case. She was a breath of fresh air. She quickly implemented an action plan, and made me feel at ease. She always returned calls and e-mails promptly. I have recommended her to friends and would not hesitate to do so in the future. If you are seeking guidance with bankruptcy, Ms. Power is a great resource!
We found Dana several years ago when we started our Bankruptcy Journey. I met with her and was pleased, and things came up and couldn't file at that time. Later when we were ready to file, she remembered me, the issues we had that got us to this point, and treated us like real people. I have very high anxiety and PTSD and I can truly be a handful. Dana and her staff treated me with the warmest respect and kindness. They understood my meltdowns, Dana always answered my emails quickly, even my anxiety prompted panic emails. She never made me feel that my concerns were senseless, and that was very important to me. During bankruptcy, you have to open up your life, your finances, and it gets very personal. When we had a creditor giving us a hard time, she fought for us. She protected everything she possibly could and helped us deal with the facts of our case emotionally. She took care of as much as she could with the trustee prior to our meeting with him, which was a blessing. The day of our 341 meeting, I was a nervous wreck. She advised me to sit in the room and watch the other cases to get a feel for the process and to ease my nerves, it was the best advice. While waiting, several people who were represented by other attorneys, were sent away with their paper work to return at a later date with corrected paper work. When it was our turn, there were a few basic questions and it was over. When looking for a Bankruptcy attorney, you want someone who has an excellent understanding of the law, understands the creditors, and is comfortable with the process; but you also want an attorney who understands you, where you came from, how you got to where you are, and how you need to be treated. There is no way I could have gone through this rigorous process with an attorney who could not identify with my personal needs in addition to my legal needs. I recommend Dana Power to anyone looking to file Bankruptcy.
